Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Director to lead our facilities management team with energy and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of all facility systems, ensuring a safe, reliable, and productive environment. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage complex projects, and foster a culture of proactive maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the infrastructure that supports our Healthcare operations, ensuring optimal performance across all (11) facilities and (3) Mobile Units.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, providing clear direction and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, asset history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage equipment—and mechanical components using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Manage industrial maintenance activities involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters.
- Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, or repairs with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely completion within scope.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical work (including high voltage), mechanical systems, and industrial environments.
- Monitor facility performance metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety audits to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Experience
- Proven management experience leading facilities or industrial maintenance teams.
- Extensive knowledge of facilities management principles including HVAC systems, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Strong supervisory skills with a track record of motivating teams toward safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple initiatives from planning through execution.
- Proficiency in English communication skills for clear documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
